PerioView Product
The PerioView endoscope is a visualization technology developed for the treatment of periodontal disease while performing periodontal therapy such as scaling and tooth planing. It was specifically designed to explore and visualize the periodontal pocket effectively removing calculus and disease that is missed with traditional therapies.
Our endoscope has a micro-camera that allows access into the periodontal pocket in a minimal invasive way. This micro-camera captures and projects and image on monitor. The monitor allows the clinical to see and the ability to remove calculus and biofilm simultaneously without the need for an incision and or surgical procedures.
Fiber scopes had limited capabilities, our digital camera allows for detection of fractures 6 X's smaller.
Fiber scopes only allow for a 6 inch diameter display compared to our 11" X 11" display with 100X magnification.
Ergonomically designed instruments have an improved locking mechanism as well as larger handles.
Our All-In-One medical grade computer monitor records still images and video for high resolution results and records.
What's The Difference?
Our PerioView endoscope pairs the advancement of technology with state of the art video imaging and display that allows up to 100X more magnification in the past. This 1.0 mm digital camera lens, equivalent to 12MP, allows an area of about 3-5 square mm with a depth of field of 1mm to 20mm.
Moreover, Periodontal Endoscopy enables multiple services to be applied simultaneously, streamlining your practice’s operations and increasing patient satisfaction. Say goodbye to the constraints of the old “traditional” way. Did we mention that studies have shown using the endoscope resulted in a statistically significant overall improvement in calculus removal during deep cleanings, compared to tactile sensations.
Not only is the PerioView more effective, it also can be half the cost of other periodontal treatments.
